With every passing week
Greetings, friends!
I come before you this morning in a buoyant mood, as I am now on vacation for about ten days! I must confess that I don't believe I have ever taken a vacation from a job that was this long before. I like it!
I'm thinking what you're thinking in an overall sense....can it get worse in our country?
The short answer is "yes," I am sad to say.
I won't recap all of the individual events of the past week or so, but every time there's a natural disaster that heavily affects Americans, I cringe to think how poorly that disaster will be handled by our government. My heart goes out to the people of the Hill Country of Texas for their unimaginable losses.
But it's really the events that are created intentionally that are so bothersome.
Let's go take over a park in Los Angeles, someone said! Even though there aren't any of our "targets" there, let's go with a bunch of armed agents, some of them on horseback, and scare a bunch of kids who are having part of their summer camp there!
Good night.
The same imbeciles then decided to descend on two cannibus fields, again in California (recognize the pattern?) and rough up a large number of migrant workers. These are the people who historically do the work that most native-born Americans choose not to do. Our entire agricultural industry depends on their contributions.
And there is still a moronic obsession with proving that our most recent President was incapacitated by his health during his term in office and that there were underhanded things going on during that.
The current administration seems to have forgotten that he, too, enjoys complete immunity for any unlawful acts committed while President. Even if they find anything, which they won't, it does not change anything except to demonstrate the pettiness and vitriol that propels the current administration.
On the plus side, federal judges now know what they must do in order to successfully halt or overturn some of the draconian orders that have been issued by the White House. And they're doing it.
And the President has now been denied his appeal of another $5 million judgment in his being found liable for sexually abusing someone whom he still claims he does not know but also says is not his type.
It's all a gigantic house of cards and it appears that circumstances and the American people are ready to huff and puff and blow it all down.
Can't happen soon enough....
Love it 😍
